You can enter or modify your details following these instructions.

The User Details page enables you to set up a new account - enter names, addresses etc. Once you have registered, you can change these details when you are logged in again by clicking on the User Details link.

The Search criteria page enables you to register the type of statistical or other work you do - or just the generic industry to which you belong. It also includes a section on your experience with various tools and general qualifications. This enables the search engine to match client and customer.

Don't enter any details if you don't want to be found. You have to be registered to use the search facility so those potential consumers of statistical services certainly do not need to enter any details in the Search criteria.

Email addresses can be set - you may wish to use a particular email address for a Discussion forum for example. You need not use email at all - the forum will only send you each message if you request it.

Note that there are three different types of email address used - they can all be the same if you wish or different ones for different purposes. The first is the Contact email address, which we may use to send you information from time to time. The second is email addresses that you use if you have any of the forum discussions sent to you - and here you can have a different one for each forum if you like. Both these sets of email addresses need to be verified before use. The third is the email address you put in your details for people to contact you. We do not verify this address - it is added in the Description section discussed below.

Lastly you may enter a Description which can include HTML either be a raw editor (eg using cut-and-paste from a text editor) or using ActiveX with Internet Explorer 5.5 and above. This can be useful for a potential client to see in more detail what you do and also to contact you directly. It is clearly necessary to add contact information either in the text or you can add your website and/or enquiry email address if you like in this section.
